1 Spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on the toasts. It is so tasty that you don't have to put thick layer.
2 Choose a topping of your choice – smoked salmon or trout, some Swiss or French cheese, trout caviar, a tiny shrimp or a half cherry tomato.
My advice: Use biscuit cutters to create all different shapes: rounds, triangles, squares, pill-shapes, flowers, hearts, etc. to personalize your canapés and make them fun.
Try presenting different shapes and colors on the same plate. Or use toothpicks to fix the toppings onto the toast. |
